Folder 1: Letter from Marie Heaney, Commissioning Editor of 'Town House and Country House', inviting Robinson to write an essay on a topic that has given him spiritual sustenance for a book called 'Sources' in aid of Focus Ireland. Robinson's submission is included - handwritten and typed, on the sequence of prime numbers.

Folder 2: Correspondence with Dr John Cosgrave from the Department of Mathematics at St Patrick's College in Drumcondra who discovered a Prime Number with 2,000 digits. Folding Landscapes published 'A Prime for the Millennium', and the file discusses the publication, their mutual love of mathematics, press cuttings about the project, and a letter from John Banville declining to launch the book on the grounds of his fluency in mathematics.

Folder 1: Correspondence between Tim Robinson and George Spencer-Brown, picking up on an earlier relationship in the 1960s, when Tim Robinson, while working as an artist drew the diagrams for the first edition of 'Laws of Form'. Robinson is searching for English language material on the four colour theorem for 'My Time in Space'. The exchanges are difficult in parts, and a subsequent letter from David Whittaker to Tim Robinson relays his personal experiences with the unpredictable Spencer-Brown. Copy letter to Dr Robin Wilson in Oxford on his 'Four Colours Suffice'. (2003).

Folder 2: Printed email from John Cosgrave, enclosing a photocopy of Spencer-Brown's manuscript article on 'Primes between Squares', which Spencer-Brown wished Tim to pass on to John. Some personal comments are exchanged. (Possibly restrict).

Folder 3: Notes, graphs and printed out articles about the Four Colour Theorem, includes copies of some of George Spencer-Brown's notes. Copy of an article 'Mathematical Games, the colouring of unusual maps leads into uncharted territory' by Martin Gardner.

Folder 1/4 Letters and invitations to Tim Robinson, mostly relating to him designing sets for productions and events held at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University. Signed Chris [Renard], Martin [ ], Michael Carter, Richard [ ], Robert [ ], and some unsigned. Programmes and ephemeral material relating to dramatic and artistic productions of the Amateur Dramatic Club Theatre. Originals and newspaper cuttings of Robinson's cartoons from this time including a self portrait of him as a mathematician.

Folder 2/4 Personal correspondence and invitations from 1956-58. Also includes a commission and copy of a review of an exhibition for Broadsheet, and a draft and carbon copy of a prose piece by T D Robinson entitled 'Three Misleading Tales'.

Folder 3/4 Artwork by Tim Robinson, including doodles, watercolours, and newspaper clippings featuring his cartoons.

Folder 4/4 Folder of ephemeral material - programmes of the Amateur Dramatic Club Theatre, and for mass held at Sidney Sussex college. Correspondence between Tim and Anthony Farrell of Lilliput Press. (20 May 1985 - 13 June 2000). Correspondence begins with a carbon copy typed letter from Tim both thanking him and complimenting him on Hubert Butler's book, and commenting on the Balkan and archaeology essays. There are 4 letters in total, subsequent correspondence discusses a trip by Farrell to visit Michael and Eithne Viney, John [Moriarty]'s 'Year One Reed' a defence of the author's use of myths in it.

Correspondence with Desmond Fennell. Handwritten letter from Fennell (1 September [1986]) mentions P J Carroll buying Bradáin Mhara Teo, and a copy of Tim's reply (2 September 1986).

Handwritten letter to Tim from Alex Fotheringham (6 August 1989), who has enjoyed reading Tim's work, and is trying to do something similar on the Isle of Muck in Scotland. He mentions the work of John [Lorne] Campbell who's notebooks from the 1920's talk about Carna. Subsequent, undated postcard from Fotheringham congratulating him on his map.

Letter to Tim Robinson from Sheila W Falcey (13 Jul 1992), of Atelier magazine. She requests a short essay or prose piece for her magazine, and provides some information on 'Atelier', 2 issues are enclosed (attached to the letter).

Letter to Tim from Kevin Foley (3 August 1992) speculating that Synge's 'Riders to the Sea' may have been inspired by the deaths of his great-grandfather Thomas Folan and great uncle Valentine Folan, who died in a fishing accident off Roundstone in 1894.

He would like to interview Robinson as part of his PhD research "a study of literary and visual representations of the West of Ireland", studying under Professor Edna Longley. Letter from Caroline Ifeka to Tim, and a copy of a letter written by the same author to David Cabot, the latter dated 17 April 1993. She is writing to follow up on the "Folding Landscapes" film, which she only caught the end of. Ifeka explains she is an anthropologist, and is interested in "other culture's images of their land, their sacred sites, hunting trails, and distribution in space of valued game".
