Correspondence begins with a carbon copy typed letter from Tim both thanking him and complimenting him on Hubert Butler's book, and commenting on the Balkan and archaeology essays. There are 4 letters in total, subsequent correspondence discusses a trip by Farrell to visit Michael and Eithne Viney, John [Moriarty]'s 'Year One Reed' a defence of the author's use of myths in it.
Correspondence with Desmond Fennell. Handwritten letter from Fennell (1 September [1986]) mentions P J Carroll buying Bradáin Mhara Teo, and a copy of Tim's reply (2 September 1986).
