DESCRIPTION MISSING FROM FINDING AID, NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED
Letters to John Wilson Lynch at the United Services Club, Dublin ; County Club, Galway; Belvoir, Co. Clare, from his wife Fanny at Belvoir and at 2 Martello Terrace, Kingstown, Co. Dublin. These letters mainly relate to the ill health of their daughter Ellen, a nun, who was dying at the Sisters of Charity Convent, Lakelands, Sandymount, Dublin. Ellen was under the care of the Rev Mother Mrs Mulhall, and on 2 December, Fanny went to Dublin to stay at Eleanor [Geoghegan]'s lodgings in Kingstown. From there she went to visit Ellen. These letters recount her arrangements for travelling to Dublin, her visits to Ellen, her concern for her husband's health, and domestic matters.
