Rough minute book of an Comhar Dramaíochta kept by Prof. Liam Ó Briain, giving names of those present at meetings, correspondence, financial accounts and an account of what they did. Includes an account of how the Augustinian Hall was chosen as the premises for the Taibhdhearc (17 Dec 1927). Also copy correspondence from Éarnán de Blaghd to Liam Ó Briain stating that he can provide £600 to the Comhar Dramaíochta for the proposed Gaelic theatre (9 Feb 1928). Also L O Deá brought along "Nead na scalltán" for the Board's consideration (23 Apr 1928). Also notes on cast and stage-hands for a production being done by Micheál Mac Liamhóir (22 Apr 1929). Also discussion on the acquisition of uniforms and props for a production of "Mar gheall ar saoire na Cásca" (18 May 1930). In a note by Liam Ó Briain at the end he states that in December 1930 they decided to get Proinnsias Mac Diarmada trained at the Gate. Taibhdhearc na Gaillimhe, giving attendance and decisions agreed. Includes resignation of Walter Macken from his position as director, and apologising to the Board that the papers got wind of it before he could tell them (17 December 1947). Also note of Commandant Ó Conchubair's disagreement with the idea of working without a producer until the end of the season, although the Board agree with this policy (17 January 1948). Also the Board agree to write to Joseph Tomelty seeking the manuscript of "All Soul's Night" (20 April 1950). Also note of conditions under which the Board ask Proinnsias Mac Diarmada and Siubhán Nic Cionnaith to produce "San Siubhán" (7 October 1950). Also the Board decide on £70 expenses for Ian Priestley-Mitchell, who is coming to produce "San Siubhán". Also note of the decision of the Board to appoint Roibeárd Ó Longaigh as producer at an Taibhdhearc (15 December 1951).

Also note of a letter from Traolach Ó hAonghusa to the Board stating that he is willing to serve for another term, and discussion on a reply from the Board stating that he had not replied to their previous five letters (29 March 1969). Also copy of the Financial Report for the year 1968/69. Also minutes of a meeting of the Board and actors in relation to the upcoming 1970/71 season, and an account of the renovations to the stage area (16 November 1970). Also in response to a request by Garry Hynes of Druid to use an Taibhdhearc for rehearsals "Dúnadh go raibh aiféal ar na Stúirthóirí cead a thabhairt go mór mhór tharla gur i mBearla a bhéadh na cleachtaithe" (10 November 1975). Also discussion in relation to a letter from Colm Ó Briain of the Arts Council, asking them to allow a Druid production at an Taibhdhearc. The Directors respond that they will do everything they can to help
Druid, but that they are required by the Department of the Gaeltacht not to stage plays in English (8 May 1976) [in Irish].
Letter from Micheál Mac Liammóir, Genazzano, 5 Duniffan Villas, Howth, County Dublin, to Prof. Liam Ó Briain. He states that as he had not heard from them for so long he had taken up work with Mac Masters, and that he would be tied to him until June. "Tá an áthas orm a chlos go bhfuil an Rialtas sásta cabhrú le an scéim drámaíochta seo". He goes on to outline his commitment to the project. He states that anyone can put on an Irish play, but feels that the scheme in Galway could also produce quality [in Irish].
Letter from Micheál Mac Liammóir, giving addresses at Kilmallock, Tralee and Kanturk for the following week, to Liam Ó Briain. He says that he and Hilton were happy to receive his letter. He states that he will send on a copy of the programme, and discusses the basic work to be done on the building. He asks for his help in the Irish version of the programme. He states that they will be going to Galway soon, and asks for the Committee to formally write to them [in Irish].
Letter from Micheál Mac Liammóir, giving addresses in Nenagh, Kilkenny and Wexford for the following week, to Liam Ó Briain. He states that Hilton Edwards has written to him on lighting. He says that the switchboard can be bought, and suggests that an electricity man can be hired in Galway, and suggests it be bought directly from the maker in London. He says that the lighting is the most important thing, and that the decorations can be kept to a minimum. He asks after Liam’s wife and family, and asks after his friend Padraic Ó Conaire. In a postscript he adds that he is sending on the script for "Diarmuid agus Gráinne" [in Irish].
Letter from Micheál Mac Liammóir, The Dublin Gate Theatre Studio, to Tomás Mac Énrí, apologising for not writing earlier and stating that he cannot come to Galway as agreed. He states that he is too tired and that his health is suffering, and that he will be unable to go to Galway until September. He ends by apologising for this delay [in Irish].
Letter from Micheál Mac Liammóir, Dublin Gate Theatre Company, to Tomás Mac Énrí stating that he had not got enough notice to go to Galway in September, and suggests the middle of October instead. He apologises for his letter not being in Irish as he is so busy.
Letter from Micheál Mac Liammóir, Dublin Gate Theatre Company, to Tomás Mac Énrí, stating that he will be in Galway on the 15th and 16th of October [in Irish].
Copy of letter from Tomás Mac Énrí, Secretary, to Micheál Mac Liammóir, stating that the Committee is happy to wait until the 21st. He states that they hope to perform "Eiseirghe Donnacda Ó Dubhda" and "An Fóghmhair". He asks if he could forward a programme if he gets the time [in Irish].
