Papers relating to the Galway Bay Steamboat Company Ltd, New Dock, Galway, of which James A Grant was secretary and John Wilson Lynch was Chairman in 1898. A series of letters from James A Grant, New Dock and 19 Eyre Square, Galway, to John Wilson Lynch, Belvoir, Co. Clare, record: a settlement reached with the Galway Harbour Board over the occupation of an office; the expansion of the Galway Bay Steamboat Company into catering for the tourist trade and the carriage of fish from the Aran Islands. Some letters included enclosures for John Wilson Lynch's perusal, which were sent back to James A Grant.
