'Suspect Terranes' which became 'A Suspect Terrane' in the published version, (Sept 2006); 'Faultlines', which became 'Faults' in the published version (Aug 2006); 'W. in Rosroe II', which became 'Thinking on the Ocean's Edge' in the published version (Jul 2006); 'The Sublime', which became 'The Sublime and the Religious' in the published version (Jan 2008); 'Romantic Ireland', which became 'The Smuggler and the Fabulist' in the published version (undated); 'Daylight and Twilight on Old Stones', which became 'Twilight on Old Stones' in the published version (23 Oct 2006), the text indicates there are earlier versions, but these are not in archive; 'Fate' (12 Oct 2007); 'The Disenchanted Island' which became 'Refloating Inishbofin' in the published version (6 Jun 2007), the text indicates there are earlier versions, but these are not in archive; 'High Island' which became 'Plague and Purity' in the published version (undated); 'Ballinaboy' which became 'From Ballinaboy' in the published version, (21 Nov 2007); typed pieces on the Sky Road and Clifden Castle, later integrated into 'Controversial Pitch' in the published version, (22 Jun 2007); typed piece on Marconi which were integrated into 'Photons in the Bog' in the published version, (Nov 2006); 'The Kingdom of Manannán', (Nov 2007).
