Europe Plus Thirty was a one-year study, commissioned by the Council of Ministers of the European Communities. On 1st April 1974, Lord Kennet was appointed as Director. The study was carried out by a Project Board (of which Mary Robinson was a member, and which was selected between May and September 1974) and a Project Team, with the first full meeting taking place in October 1974. The final report was officially submitted to the Commission on 23 September 1975.
