Scope and content
Draft letter from [Thomas Donelan], Woodquay, to Robert Adams, stating that his father is confined to bed. He has received his letter saying that William is not yet fit to be examined. 'However if he is not it must be his own fault and my father’s opinion is that as he did no good in six years it is quite out of the question to think that he will begin now, and he desires me to say that he has come to the firm resolution of leaving him in Dublin no longer.' He asks him to sure that he is examined before he returns home. He says that a position is coming up and that it would be nice if William was ready for it.
