Copy letter from Tim to Tony A Smyth, Director RDO of the Galway-Mayo Regional Development Organisation (28 Jul 1987). The letter outlines suggestions for the Cultural Itineraries of Regions of Europe programme, under the headings of: Botanical/Ecological; Traditional folk music; Traditional Craft.

Letter to Tim Robinson from Ruth Savage of Blackwell Publishers enclosing a Memorandum of Agreement with relation to the publication of 'A Companion to Irish Culture'. (see McCormack)/ 24 Sep 1991.

Correspondence between Tim and Michael Sykes, editor of Floating Island Publications. (11 Sep 1992 - 25 May 1994). Refers to his becoming familiar with Robinson's work through Sheila Falcey (see F correspondence), offering to publish SFOTSOC. Copy of Robinson's reply responding favourably.

Correspondence between Tim and Máiréad (spelled Moraid by the correspondent) Robinson, and George Stoney (a descendant of the Stoney family) of the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. (3 May 1994 - 26 April 2004). Includes faxes, letters and press cuttings. Stoney advises Tim to expect a call from Dewitt Sage soon to visit Roundstone (1994) "while he considers doing an adaptation of a novel by Janette Hainen". In 1998 Stoney writes of an upcoming trip to Dublin, the premiere of Jim Sheridan's 'The Boxer' "we saw it in rough cut stage and think it is his best yet", his rereading of "Annals of the Stoney Family", the popularity of 'Angela's Ashes'. On 3 March 2000, Stoney recommends the film 'Central Station' to Tim, and writes of seeing a preview of 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' and Peter Sheridan's film based on Behan's 'Borstal Boy'. In August 2000, Stoney writes seeking information on the career of a "19th century Feminist named Margaret Cusack (1829-99) whose mother was a Stoney born in Tipperary.... Seems she was a Catholic convert, joined the Poor Clares, then raised so much political hell (worked with the Land League etc.) that she was kicked out." Photocopied press cutting from the Irish Times (28 May 2001) on a film about the eco-warriors campaign to save trees in Glen O' The Downs' 'Tunnel Vision'. This file is mostly of correspondence from Stoney, only 2 copies of letters from Robinson are included.

Letter to Tim from Sonia Scholman (6 Mar 1999) relating to 'The Other Clare', and their recent meeting at a conference in Ballyvaughan. A story about meeting a badger is referred to.

Correspondence between Tim and Máiréad Robinson and Barbara and Alistair Scott (21 September 1999 - 3 September 2003). Tim wonders if Barbara might translate 'Bergkristal' by Adalbert Stifter for a passage he wishes to include in 'My Time in Space'. Alastair includes verses 'One Dozen Ways of Looking at Thrushes'. Commentary on 'My Time in Space'. Later letters warm and personal in tone, discussing illness.

One off correspondence between 1 December 1988 and 7 May 2001 (some items undated).

Two letters from Maurice Sheehy (1988) outlining an idea of his to produce "a large scale, say 1.5" to the mile, map of the Dingle peninsula". He seeks advice on producing the map, wondering about the cartography and finance of such a venture.

Letter from Con Sheehan (14 March 1990) regarding a proposal he submitted to the Department of Finance on a pilot collection of Field Names in Ireland, to take place in Louth. He has included Robinson on a list of experts who might support the suggestion.

Letter from Liz Sweeney RTE (11 March 1993) enclosing an edited version of his lecture of landscape and language (enclosure not included).

Letter from Charlie Spillane (11 May 1993) regarding setting up a charitable trust in Ireland committed to the practical conservation of plant and animal genetic resources in Ireland, and enclosing information.

Letter from Angele Smith, an anthropological archaeologist completing a PhD at the University of Massachusetts, requesting a meeting with Robinson. (6 November 1993).

Letter from Fay Stevens (31 October 1998) enclosing a detailed list of tombs she has recorded and surveyed in the Burren and Cleggan/Letterfrack areas of Connemara.

Letter from Cilin Sackett (3 December 1999) inviting him as a publisher to propose a selection of 10-12 titles from the Folding Landscapes output for a book exhibition in the Plymouth Arts Centre, which will later travel to the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
