File of correspondence between Joe Burke of the Leitrim Céilí Band and local organisers of dances, particularly in County Galway, but also in six other counties and England (Yorkshire) - asking for quotations and making bookings. Including plans for a Macra na Feirme -concert (Loughrea 2 November) also to feature the Gael-linn Cabaret; Gael-linn (Dublin 24 November) regretting the Macushla Ballroom is being fought over at the Congress of Irish Unions by the Federation of Musicians who don't permit Association [of Irish Traditional Musicians] to play there. Also including a series of letters from James O'Connor (Huddersfield, Yorkshire 22 November - 28 December) planning for performances there, in Birmingham, and London, stating that he is working on this with a priest. Fees for the band of 20/ night (asking price in Ballaghaderreen) and 25 (agreed for London).
