Correspondence between Tim and Catherine Nash Letter from Nash (23 April 1992) about her postgraduate research in landscape, gender and national identity in Ireland in the 20th century, and requesting a meeting with Tim during her forthcoming research visit to Galway. A subsequent (but undated) handwritten letter from Nash, in which she is writing up her thesis, and requests a reference for an article he has written that he gave her 'On the cultivation of the compass rose', and wondering when 'Labyrinth' will be out. Copy letter from Robinson to Nash (19 March 1997) thanking her for her article reviewing 'Setting Foot on the Shores of Connemara'. He goes on to write "I share your unease about the under-representation of women in these essays - unease about my partial knowledge and slanted expectations, and about the sad implications of the fact that so few women are named or even mentioned in the material that has come into my hands". Printed email from Nash to Robinson (27 April 1997) requesting a copy of a talk that he gave. Letter from Nash with enclosures (a booklet entitled 'Lost' with artistic representations of aerial photographs, and an editorial she has written entitled 'Mapping Emotion' for the Environment and Planning D: Society and Space journal). Letter dated 6 April 1998. Copy reply from Robinson (9 May 1998) commenting on 'Lost'.
Letter to Tim from Richard Nairn (17 August 1994), "I was interested in your explanation of the name of the island (Inis Oirc) as being derived from orc, meaning whale or sea monster. I wondered if this might have been due to a stranding of a large whale on the island", this explanation featured in the Connemara map and Gazetteer.

Handwritten letter from Nic Domhnaill (23 October 2001) asking the Robinsons not to leave Roundstone, that there is a lot of respect for them among the local community.
