Correspondence between Tim and Catherine Nash Letter from Nash (23 April 1992) about her postgraduate research in landscape, gender and national identity in Ireland in the 20th century, and requesting a meeting with Tim during her forthcoming research visit to Galway. A subsequent (but undated) handwritten letter from Nash, in which she is writing up her thesis, and requests a reference for an article he has written that he gave her 'On the cultivation of the compass rose', and wondering when 'Labyrinth' will be out. Copy letter from Robinson to Nash (19 March 1997) thanking her for her article reviewing 'Setting Foot on the Shores of Connemara'. He goes on to write "I share your unease about the under-representation of women in these essays - unease about my partial knowledge and slanted expectations, and about the sad implications of the fact that so few women are named or even mentioned in the material that has come into my hands". Printed email from Nash to Robinson (27 April 1997) requesting a copy of a talk that he gave. Letter from Nash with enclosures (a booklet entitled 'Lost' with artistic representations of aerial photographs, and an editorial she has written entitled 'Mapping Emotion' for the Environment and Planning D: Society and Space journal). Letter dated 6 April 1998. Copy reply from Robinson (9 May 1998) commenting on 'Lost'.

Letter to Tim from Richard Nairn (17 August 1994), "I was interested in your explanation of the name of the island (Inis Oirc) as being derived from orc, meaning whale or sea monster. I wondered if this might have been due to a stranding of a large whale on the island", this explanation featured in the Connemara map and Gazetteer.

Handwritten letter from Máire [Nic Gearailt] of NUI Maynooth (18 Nov 1999) seeking a copy of Tim's conference paper, and congratulating him on the Prime Number work.

Postcard from Nooteboom to the Robinsons (postmark 27 April 2000), slightly faint, commenting on trip to America. Correspondence between Cees Nooteboom and Robinson. Copy letter from Robinson (19 July 2000) talking about the novel 'In the Dutch Mountains'. Copy letter from Robinson to Nooteboom (11 January 2002) talking about his work with Liam Mac an Iomaire in translating 'Cré na Cille' by Máirtín Ó Cadhain. Handwritten letter from Nooteboom (8 February 2002) thanking him for the winter-solstice book and mentioning Cré na Cille. Handwritten letter from Nooteboom (30 July 2002) discussing ideas he read in Atavio Paz 'In the light of India'. Postcard from Nooteboom (1 September 2002) sent from Spain.

Correspondence (in Irish) between Bríd Nic Domhnaill and Tim Robinson. Handwritten letter from Nic Domhnaill (23 October 2001) asking the Robinsons not to leave Roundstone, that there is a lot of respect for them among the local community. A copy of a typed response, dated 26 November 2001 thanking Bríd, and explaining that they do not intend to leave. "Bhan sé preab asainn nuair a chualamar go raibh an marina le bheigh suite taobh amuigh ar bhfuinneóga".

Handwritten note from Máirín Ní [Dhonnachadha] in Irish enclosing a notice on an upcoming seminar on Medieval Aran, to be held in the Arts Millennium Building at NUI Galway on 7 November 2001.

Postcard from Charles Nelson to Tim (11 June [ ] ) enclosing an edit on his manuscript (unspecified), and a notice "An Invitation to become a patron of the Burren".
