Letter to Tim from John [McQuillan and Brown] (24 Jan 1991) broaching the idea of a film about map-making, and prompting questions such a film might hope to answer. "Are you a latter-day [Thomas] Colby?...How do you reverse the Anglification of Irish place names, does O'Donovan come into your equation?" He also references Richard Long, Hamish Fulton, A la Recherche Du Temps Perdu.
Correspondence between Tim and W J McCormack of Trinity College relating to an upcoming publication 'A Companion to Irish Culture', (5 Mar - 8 August 1991). McCormack's first letter thanks Robinson for his Synge introduction, and notes he has a few comments to pass on to Anthony [Farrell]. He proceeds to invite Robinson to contribute to 'A Companion to Irish Culture', and encloses a list of the placenames they wish to include. A copy of Robinson's reply agreeing to take part, and enclosing a few notes on placenames. The final letter is from McCormack, and encloses a revised list.
