Justin May (Dublin) to Tim Robinson. Letter from May to the Robinsons (12 February 1986) referring to his enclosing a copy of the "Glenmacnass" mountain recreation map that he recently drew (map not included here). Copy of Robinson's response (18 February 1986) complimenting May on the map, and inviting him to visit Roundstone to work on transferring "details from the 6" to military maps". Two carbon copies of letters from Robinson to May (6 April 1986 and 16 July 1986) discussing map drawing techniques, and asking him to replicate a drawing technique he has used, but with more accuracy. Refers to correspondence with Joss Lynam (see P120/3/49/12).

Correspondence between Tim and Paul Mohr (23 March 1987 - 15 May 1990). Letter to Tim from Paul with a list of placenames for which he needs interpretations. A carbon copy of Tim's reply (1 April 1987). Photocopied circular from Paul Mohr and Martin Feely, sent to Robinson for information (15 May 1990) enclosing a timetable of excursions relating to the Connemara 1990 Meeting. Handwritten letter to Tim from Paul (31 May 1997) congratulating him on his Honorary degree.

Carbon copy letter from Máiréad (7 October 1987) on the subject of visit to Roundstone by students at Manchester Polytechnic, and an outstanding cheque.

Three letters from Róisín Ní Mheara (July - September 1989) regarding an upcoming research visit to Roundstone and a possible meeting.

Letter to Tim from Roddy Murray (1 September 1989) informing him of an exhibition 'Togail Tír: Marking Time - the map of the Western Isles' in An Lanntair, The Lantern Gallery in Stornoway, Scotland.

Letter to Tim from Luke Mitchell (undated, but replied to on 11 May 1991) inviting him to open an exhibition at the Glenamaddy Arts and Historical Society.

Letter to Tim from Tom Munnelly of the Department of Irish Folklore UCD (6 January 1993) inviting him to speak at the second Scoil Léacht in Chonchúir 1993 enclosing a copy of the previous year's programme.

Letter from Axel Miret to Robinson (October 1993), letter of admiration, written from Achill.

Máirtín Cholín Tom (Comharchumann Forbartha Arainn) to the Robinsons (the letter is written in both Irish and English). Máirtín first writes to the Robinsons on 24 February 1994 regarding a FÁS scheme to help run the local Heritage Centre in Cill Rónáin. They are looking at projects to "fill the in between times especially in winter, gathering folklore of the island". He is scoping out a mapping study of the Island's graveyards, and seeks advice from the Robinson's. Copy of Robinson's reply (4 March 1994), "it is essential to get the advice of an expert Archaeologist", a note about pieces of stone lying around relating to the island's folklore, recommending Jim Higgins as a useful person to contact, and mentioning the importance of "the conservation of na leachta cuimhne", which Tim has written of in 'Mementoes of Mortality'.

Letter to Tim from John Malone (6 February 1995) looking for information about the controversy surrounding the Derryvichrone Bog, for his project in Environmental Impact Assessment Management, part of his course in UCD.

Letter to Tim from Stephen Mulqueen (14 September 1996), a New Zealand sculptor living in Cork, He has done some work on the duality of European and Maori placenames in the context of the New Zealand landscape, and encloses a catalogue from his exhibition 'Papakihau, Slapped by the Wind'.

Handwritten note to Tim from [Larry May] enclosing a clipping from the Boston Globe on the history of stone walls. Clipping from November 1996, note from June 1997.

Fax from Gary Moore to Tim Robinson (1 Aug 1997) inviting him to contribute an "in depth Social and Historical account on Kylemore Abbey". Handwritten reply from Robinson (original, presumably faxed) (11 Sep 1997) declining on the basis of a large workload.

Copy letter from Tim to Professor J C C Mays (30 May 1998) on his essay 'Orion the Hunter', which led to a trip by the Robinsons to New York, a reading at the American Irish Historical Society.

Correspondence between Tim and Paul Mercier (July - August 1999). Mercier writes seeking information on Tobar na Seacht nIníon, copy reply from Robinson enclosing some information and giving Angela Bourke's name as a possible source of information. Reply from Mercier thanking him and explaining an idea he has for a short film script.

Collection of love letters from Máiréad to Tim, 19 January 2000 - 10 February 2000 (almost daily). The letters were written while Tim was in London writing, and Máiréad was looking after the Folding Landscapes business. Affectionate and humorous in tone.

Handwritten letter to Máiréad and Tim from Molly [ ]. (24 Jan [ ] ) on the structure of memory. Copy of their reply (20 Feb 2000) enclosing a few pages of writing.

Letter to Tim from [ ] on the headed paper of Archie McAlister, Chartered Architect, letting him know of Tony McManus's recent death, and recommending John McPhee's 'Annals of the Former World'. 19 May 2002.

A copy of Oxford Magazine (2001), with handwritten note to Tim and Máiréad, signature illegible.

Invitation to launch of film 'Tubberware' in December 2002, and a handwritten note from Paul Mercier.

Letter to Tim from James Morrissey (7 May 2003) inviting him to write a chapter on his own Irish hero for a publication from the IAWS Group.

Two pieces of correspondence to Tim from Peter Matulla (15 March - 26 April 2004), congratulating him on his books, and enclosing a poem he translated from German to Irish 'An Rí Watzmann'.

Letter to Tim from Mary Munro 21 March 2004. Thanking him for his work, and agreeing with his objections to the proposed airport and the conservation of Roundstone bog.

Letter to Tim from Cáit Ní Cheallacháin, honorary secretary of the Kate O'Brien Weekend, inviting him to the 2007 weekend. Letter dated 29 May 2006. The 2007 theme is being Irish, and a list of speakers and brochure is included.
