On the subject of O'Shaughnessy's new draughtsman on the "SR & GSL Railroad", who made an agreement with the letter's author to complete map work for him, and pay him outstanding money at a previously agreed rate. The draughtsman, Mr [Shired] has not kept to the agreement, and O'Brien writes to O'Shaughnessy for his assistance.

Handwritten memo from O'Shaughnessy to Adolph [Sutro] advising that the Commissioners will postpone their report at his request, and instructs [Sutro] to have his engineer submit maps and assessments to the Commissioners the following date.
