Correspondence between Coiril Ó Mathúna and Mrs. Coxhead, The Red House, St Mary's Way, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, relating to photographs for an article she is doing for the Manchester Guardian. She describes a trip she made to Inishmaan "…astonishing to find the people, the long red dresses and the cottage interiors virtually unchanged since Synge's day except for the Calor Gas!" (10 July 1959). She states later that the article is rejected by the "Guardian" but is then taken by "The Times" (21 Aug 1959).
