Clare, 'no 61' from four Bishops of Killaloe and Kilfenora, to Marcus Lynch, Galway, banker, assignee of Sarah Ferrall of Dublin, widow and administratrix of James Ferrall, esq, and from 1824 to his son Patrick Marcus Lynch, Galway. The annual rent was £25.0.6, reduced to £23.2.8 from 1829, for a term of 21 years. Although Aughinish was in Co. Clare, it was part of the Duras estate.
