Text of the address given by Father Hayes at the revived Annual Show in Carlow, 1949. The Annual Show was restarted following the formation of a parish guild of Muintir na Tíre the previous year in the wake of Muintir na Tíre's National Rural Week held in Carlow. In the address, Father Hayes appeals to every parish in Carlow to form a guild.
